Somebeachsomewhere should have dropped in the 4 hole until the half-then he should have tipped out past the half and he would have won it going away. He lost the race by going three wide to the half in 51 seconds-took too much out of him. My opinion Paul MacDonell was way to tentative-he didnt know what to do when the gate left-he sat then he left a little that decision gave the other horses a chance to get ahead of him when the gate left-remember he had the 2 hole so he should have been on the top immediately. Somebeachsomewhere would have won if he was driven by a top Meadowlands driver-no doubt in my mind-I also think he would have won it in 1.46 if he wasnt used so hard at the half-guess we will never know.
